These instructions explain how to ask Best Business Intermediation, Inc. ("Vyzu", "we", "us") to delete the personal information we hold about you, including information we receive from Meta when a business connects WhatsApp to Vyzu. They supplement our Privacy Policy, which describes what we collect and why.
1. Close your account in the app
If you have a Vyzu account, you can close it yourself:
- In the mobile app: open Your account (under Settings) and choose Close my account.
- On the website: open Settings → Account and choose Delete My Account.
Confirm with the verification code we send to your email or phone. When the account closes, you are signed out on every device and your saved payment cards stop being chargeable. If something still depends on the account — an active membership, a shop you own, or a role on a shop's team — we will ask you to resolve it first or to contact us.
Closing your account disables it; it does not by itself erase your information, and signing in again with the same email or phone reactivates it. To have your information erased, ask us as described in section 2.
2. Ask us to delete your information
Email privacy@vyzu.app with the subject "Data Deletion Request". This works whether or not you have an account. Include:
- your name and the email address or phone number you used with us;
- the shop or shops you booked with, if you know them; and
- what you would like deleted (everything, or specific information).
We verify your identity before acting, usually by sending a code to the email or phone on file. We respond within forty-five (45) days. If we need more time, we tell you, and the total will not exceed ninety (90) days.
3. Information we receive from Meta (WhatsApp)
A business can connect its WhatsApp Business account to Vyzu so that our AI receptionist can answer its customers. When it does, Meta provides us with identifiers for the business's WhatsApp Business account and phone number, an access token, and the messages exchanged on that number.
- Businesses: remove the WhatsApp number from the AI receptionist settings in your dashboard, or remove our app from your Meta business settings. Once the number is removed we stop receiving its messages and delete the access token Meta issued to us. To have the stored conversations deleted as well, ask us as described in section 2.
- People who messaged a business on WhatsApp: ask us as described in section 2, with the phone number you messaged from and the business's name, and we will delete those conversations.
4. What happens after a request
After we receive a request under section 2, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except the records we must keep for a limited time by law, for fraud prevention or to resolve disputes — for example payment, billing and account-registration records. Those records are kept only for the periods listed in Appendix A of our Privacy Policy and are then deleted or anonymized. Deleted information is removed from our encrypted backups within thirty (30) days.
A shop you booked with may keep its own records of your appointments and purchases as an independent business. To have those deleted, contact the shop directly; we will help it act on your request where the records are stored on Vyzu.
